headlight
I used these and some hot glue to replace the dim bulbs in my tractor/mower. Now I can cut the grass in the dark. Wiring was easy since there is no need to worry about polarity on these bulbs. https://i.imgur.com/GdY9gk0.jpg

BRITE!
Very bright at even 10V. Draws about 200 ma at 12.5 volts

Great light!
I attached two of these onto a large hexacopter that I use for search and rescue. Weight and power consumption are a big issue because they both affect flight time. Not a problem with these. They are light, bright, have a narrow beam and dont consume a lot of power. Just what I needed!

Great light!
I forgot to mention, in my other review, to remember to purchase the G-4 Bi-Pin sockets for these. MPJA part number 31095. They make installation and mounting a lot easier.

Great Price
These lights have great color- identical to the incandescent they replaced. Very nice and bright.

Not 5700K, more like 6700K
Functionally it works fine, draws about 2.2W at 18VDC, approximately 3.3W at 12VDC, indicating that the output has dropped out of regulation. Its designed for 12VAC do its right at home at 18VDC input. The color temperature was nowhere near natural white of 5500-5700K, the output was cool white and falls under 6000-6700K range, center hotspot was almost purple. I cant use them for my intended project which requires accurate color rendition using lamps not centralized in the bluish end of the spectrum,
